On Saturday, September 19, 2009 56 men gathered at the Brockway-Owens Golf Course.

We played 36 holes of golf on a beautiful day and had a great time.

What was the purpose of the tournament?

Our purpose was to raise Tuition Assistance funds for DuBois Christians Schools.

Our goal - $10,000

Our result - $15,000

Praise the Lord!

We want to give a hearty thank you to all who participated,
to all who sponsored the golfers,
and to the businesses that sponsored the holes.

The hole sponsors were:

Brownlee Lumber
Jack Chamberlin - Surveying and Consulting
C. E. Nelson - Building and Remodeling
Barr Wholesale
Kohlhepp Stone Center
Goble-Baronick Funeral Home
Mowrey Plumbing and Heating
Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc.
Lezzer Lumber
H & H Supply II, Inc
S & T Bank
D. T. Construction
Animal Health Services of Reynoldsville

Barth Thomas and his team were 22 under par and won the tournament.

Jeremy Long and his team came in second.

Pastor Mark and his team came in last (a usual spot but we love to play).

We all had a great time as we raised funds to help the students of DuBois Christian Schools.
