Do you work for the Lord?

Our theme at First Baptist
this year is
"Workers Together with Him."

Our theme verse is
II Corinthains 6:1
"We then, as workers together
with Him..."

If you are a believer,
you have a responsibility
to work for the Lord and
the privilege of working
with the Lord.

How does that "work" look?
What does it involve?

Here are but a few illustrations of working together with the Lord -

1. serving the Lord at church
2. helping in the community
(The picture above is a group of men from three churches roofing a house in our community.)
3. taking a shut-in to an appointment
4. sitting with a hurting friend
5. sharing Christ with someone else
6. writing letters of encouragement to our troops
7. bringing neighborhood children to VBS

The list is endless.

What is my point? If you are a believer, you need to be involved in working for the Lord.
